Public alert radios tune to NOAA Weather Radio All Hazards, a nationwide network of radio stations broadcasting all-hazards information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at www.weather.gov/nwr/
Broadcasts include alerts and safety steps on a wide range of emergencies, such as an approaching tornado, a telephone outage disrupting 911 emergency services, local roads overrun by flash floods, a derailed train posing a hazardous material threat, or the urgent need to be on the lookout for an abducted child.
